When a template earns its place

Programmatic SEO uses structured data and a common template to answer many related queries. The value must come from the information on each page. A city guide can differ by prices, connectivity and actual local experience; changing only the city name creates little value.

A concrete model

Nomad List’s original city comparison is a useful example of data shaping the page. For your own product, begin with ten pages and inspect each one. Show the origin and age of the data, explain missing values, and add links that help readers move between related answers.

AI is a production aid

Google says generative AI can help research and structure content. Generating many pages without adding value may violate its scaled-content-abuse policy. Test whether each page answers a distinct question better than a single overview. Index the useful pages; keep thin filters and duplicate combinations out of the index.
